Airport Fire Station Visit

We are very pleased that our Airport Fire Station visit is a go.  The fire station is located in the Combined Services Building at 2068 Alert Road.  Just before the road makes a right turn you will see the ORNG helicoper facilities building.  The driveway for the Combined Services Building is on the left side.

Please give yourselves enough time to arrive for 6:30.  This visit is always popular and we may be able to see the snow clearing machines and/or the K9 unit in action!

A Request and Some Reminders

Hello,

Please try to remember indoor shoes.  We know it's crazy, so many activities, so many pairs of shoes.  Indoor shoes mean we can plan active games for the children and keep them moving on indoor nights.
Next week's meeting has been moved to Wednesday.  Come dressed for outdoors.  We will be outside for part of the evening.  The meeting will run from 6:30 until 7:30 at Trinity Bible Church on Stagecoach.
We would like to do some woodworking with the children.  We are asking for donations of good pieces of wood.  We will determine what can be made once we collect the donations.  You may bring the pieces to any meeting and a leader will collect it.  Thank you!
Bring a friend nights will begin the week of the 25th.  If you are planning on bringing a friend, please let us know so we can be sure to have the proper ratio and materials for guests.  Bring a friend nights continue until the end of the year.  The visiting children should be in junior kindergarten, senior kindergarten, grade one or grade two.  Parents of visiting children are welcome to stay, but are reminded that they may not take part in programming unless they have undergone the Scouts Canada screening for volunteers.

Thank You!
