This is a joint party with ALL sections of Scouting.  There will be games, a haunted house and snacks.
 
You may come in costume, but remember NO weapons are allowed. 


White Tail Sleepover

I would like to send the cheque this weekend so if all parents could contact or arrange with me for cheque pickup/cash that would be great.
Eligible Beavers are: Jack, Blake, Aiden, Dylan, Jasper, Carson,Kyle and Justin.

Our Colony’s White Tails (Beavers who are 7 years old) will be participating in the annual White Tail Beaver Museum Adventure Sleepover.  Please see the attached information about this event and let your contact leader know if your White Tail Beaver wishes to attend.

Beavers are required to bring:

                        Pajamas, Stuffed animal & Toiletry items
                        Sleeping Bag, Pillow and Flashlight
                        Pad to sleep on
                        Clothing

Your Beaver is NOT allowed to bring any food into the museum and heeleys are not permitted.

Food for the Sleepover is:
            Evening Snack: Rice Krispie Squares and Apple/Orange Juice
            Breakfast: Juice, Cereal, or Muffin, Fruit (Tea/Coffee for adults)

Please feed your Beaver supper before the event and have them in full uniform.

2012 Rideau Area All Sections Activity Day

Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

Our Section will be participating in the Rideau Area All Sections Activity Day on October 27, 2011 from 10 AM to 4 PM.  There is NO rain date. If your Youth wishes to attend, be sure to sign up with your Section Leaders.  Parents are welcome to participate but we ask that siblings not be included due to space limitations.

                Where:                 Andy Shields Park, Greely Old Prescott Hwy

(south of Parkway on Old Prescott Hwy after lights.)

 

                Date:                      Saturday, October 27, 2012

 

Time:                     10:00 AM to approximately 4:00 PM 

                                Please arrive by 9:45 AM at the latest so that we can gather as a group, register as a group and enter as a group!  Pickup time is 4-4:30 p.m.

                               

                Dress:                   Please dress for the weather as the event will be held outside.

                                                PLEASE WEAR GROUP NECKERCHIEF.

 ·         $5.00 (includes registration, snack, activities, craft, fire permit, kybos and crest)

·         Accompanying Parents - $5.00

·         Extra crests are available at a cost of $2.00 each.

 

Food/Snack:       Crystal drinks will be served during the day. Snacks will be provided to all groups at the start of the event.

 

Allergy Notice:   This is a nut-free scouting event.
                               

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Lunch is not provided, please send a lunch with your child. 

        

All Area Sections Day

Please come prepared to register for All Area Sections Day on October 27th.  It will be at Andy Shields Park in Greely.  Further details will be posted this week.  Lunches and snacks are not provided and must be NUT free and PEANUT free.
The cost is $5.00 per child.  Parents may attend.  Drop off is 9:45, pick up at 4:00.

POPCORN

 
If you were not at the apple orchard and need to pick up your popcorn order forms give Chip/Fiona a call and I can drop them off or send them via kidmail.  I would like them back on the 15th, and probably shouldn't admit this but there is some leeway built into that, so if you need it a bit longer please let me know.
